We turn our attention directly up Highway 101, North and slightly West from Healdsburg to the heart of the Alexander Valley. The region features volcanic, iron-rich soils and a moderate temperature making it a perfect home to Bordeaux grape varieties. Best known for Cabernet Sauvignon, this grape variety shows classic expression in the Alexander Valley. Our Cabernet comes from the relatively warmer northern part of the appellation near the town of Asti, and provides ripe cassis and berry flavors, savory notes, oak toast and plenty of chewy tannins.
