By becoming a GrapeSeed Partner you agree to the following:
- You are 21 years of age or older.
- You authorize GrapeSeed to charge your credit card prior to each Club shipment. If you have chosen the Wine Fund option, any balance in your Wine Fund will be deducted prior to charging your credit card. If there are not sufficient funds in your Wine Fund to cover the cost of a shipment, your credit card will be charged for the difference. See below for a description of payment methods.
- You agree to stay active in the club for one calendar year and take a minimum of three shipments. GrapeSeed Partnership (membership) is designed to reward loyal customers for active membership with benefits and preferred wine pricing. Cancellations prior to accepting three shipments will be subject to a one-time charge to cover the cost of the benefits received, including the cost of complimentary tastings and discounts on wine.
- You will provide a phone number, a billing and ship-to address and a valid credit card number (which will be kept securely on file) at time of enrollment and agree to keep this information up-to-date.
- You understand that GrapeSeed will send out shipment notices prior to and receipts after processing orders via email.
- After three shipments you may cancel at any time by contacting email@example.com.
You may pay for shipments prior to a club shipment or you may use the Wine Fund feature. The Wine Fund is like a personal piggy bank for wine. Your credit card is charged monthly in the amount you designate. Your balance builds until you order wine or receive a Club shipment. Your Wine Fund is used first to cover the cost of your order or Club shipment. Wine Funds are charged monthly, during the first week of the month. Wine Fund contributions are capped at the value of six months of contributions and are non-refundable. Wine Funds must be used within one year from the date of the last contribution. Abandoned Wine Fund accounts are subject to maintenance fees, and abandoned accounts will expire one year from the date of the last contribution. Thereafter, the balance will no longer be available to purchase wine.
Due to the restrictions of many state laws, we only ship wine to those states where direct shipment is permitted by law. At the present time, we are accepting orders in the following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NE, NC, ND, NH, NJ, NV, NY, NM, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY, WV
In the warm summer months, wines will be shipped in temperature controlled trucks as needed to protect product quality. The GrapeSeed Partner Care team will track shipments from the time they leave the warehouse right up to the point where the package is signed for at your home or office (signature must be from an adult 21 years of age or older). In addition, GrapeSeed guarantees the safe delivery of your wine or we will refund your purchase. All packages are shipped using FedEx or UPS and our shipping prices include packaging materials.
You will be notified by email when your wines are shipped. Generally, we will attempt to ship your wines shortly after your order is placed. In order to protect your wine, please be aware that your order may be held for ideal weather and shipping conditions.
Shipping and handling rates will vary based on where a package is shipped, the number of bottles, and the size and weight of your order. Rates will also change as expedited shipping methods are selected.
Gold Seal Pre-Paid Shipping
Whether you are a GrapeSeed Partner or acquire wine from the Marketplace, you may purchase Pre-paid shipping for a period of one year. Only standard shipping is available under this option. Expedited shipping options are billed as indicated in the shopping cart.
We offer date-specific deliveries for most items purchased. If you would like us to deliver on a specific date, add this information in the “Instructions for Winery” window during check out. You can select a delivery date up to three months out.
Weather conditions (whether it is extreme heat or freezing temperatures) across the US certainly create challenges for shipping wine. Primarily, in extreme cold or heat, we recommend:
- Choose Next Day Air and a business address for fast delivery and ensured signature.
- Choose a future delivery date for a time with usually mild temperatures.
At our discretion, we will hold orders if we deem conditions unsuitable for shipping. We will notify you and ship it once weather conditions are suitable.
Protecting your privacy is important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us on our site. This policy does not, however, govern the terms of our relationship or constitute any representation or warranty.
Information Collected on This Site
When you visit our website, our statistics package from Google collects some basic information about your browser. Examples include what type of browser and operating system you are using, how long you remained on our site and what pages you looked at while here. This helps us understand how visitors browse our site, so that we can make their shopping experience better. We also collect personal information about you at various points, including your name and email address (and other information) from the mailing list sign-up form, and additional personal and financial information from the order forms that you complete during a purchase.

The information you provide to us on this website is only used to send you our offers, and to process and ship your order. We may also use this information to send you information regarding new features, services and special offers from us and/or our business partners that we think you’ll find valuable. This information is harvested from a secure area and encrypted for our customer’s protection. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others, except as otherwise disclosed in this statement. Although we use outside shipping companies to ship orders and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services, these companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. Making Changes and Opting Out
You may access the personal information you have submitted to us at any time by selecting "My Account". From there you can make changes to your account information. You can opt-out of any marketing messages or newsletters by clicking the unsubscribe link available in the footer of each email.
If you send a gift from our site, we will collect contact information, such as name, shipping address and phone number for gift recipients to ensure correct gift delivery. We will not sell, share or rent any contact or personal information for invited friends or gift recipients with third parties, but they may receive offers from us and/or our business partners highlighting new features, products, services and special offers we think they will find interesting. Invited friends and gift recipients can easily opt-out of receiving any marketing messages or newsletters by clicking the unsubscribe link available in the footer of each email.
